Steps for getting your card:

1. Complete this online Library Card Application Form.

2. Upon form submission, a response will be provided to your application within two business days.

3. Upon completion of processing your application, our staff will e-mail your library barcode to you. Our online databases collection will then be available to you. 

4. You may go to Patron Registration at either Nichols Library, Naper Boulevard Library, or 95th Street Library to pick up your library card. Let the Library staff know that you registered for the card on the Web and be prepared to show two forms of identification with address. Applicants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to sign their application  in the Library to receive a library card.
