Adult/Teen Computer LAb
Lab use is available to all Naperville Public Library cardholders and to all registered reciprocal borrowers only. Check our Internet Policy for more details. Internet express stations are available to all adults who have signed the Internet User Agreement or the “click through” version of the Internet User Agreement and it is limited to 30min.
The Lab offers:
Computers for Word Processing & Internet Access: Windows-based computers with access to the: Microsoft Office 2003 products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Publisher) Online Databases Internet Library Catalog All computers have CD-RW All computers are networked to color and black & white laser printers. Few specific computers are connected to the scanner. Few specific computers with adaptive software Other: The IBM Wheelwriter 1000 typewriter contains an auto-correct ribbon and other programmable features. Patrons are required to provide their own paper. There is no charge for computer use, but there is a fee of 10 cents/page for black and white print and 25 cents/page for color print. CD's and diskettes are available for purchase at all the computer lab and the Nichols Reference Desk. CD is $2.00 each and diskette is $1.00 each.
