All three locations of the library will be closed. Book drop-off will be open 24/7 at all buildings. Materials can be renewed online.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl?(TM)(NIC)

Friday, January 02, 2015 at 2:00 PM -- Nichols Library
Wii Tournament
Students can enjoy their day off school and show off their mad gaming skills at the library's Wii?(TM) tournament. Teens can compete to win bragging rights and a target gift card. Those that don't want to participate in the tournament, but love Nintendo can bring their DS to play for fun with other gamers.

Getting ready for college - SAT practice test (NSL)

Saturday, January 03, 2015 at 12:00 PM -- 95th Street Library
A practice test is crucial to ward off those test-day jitters. Test takers can find out how they will score on the real thing. Kaplan will provide proctored tests, and individuals should bring No. 2 pencils, an approved calculator and a healthy snack. The exams will begin promptly at the scheduled time, and no one will be admitted once the exam has started.

Cupcake & cookie club(NSL)

Teens can explore their design talents while decorating cupcakes and cookies at the library. There will be a different theme each month. Decorators can eat, take home or give their treats as gifts.

Already dreaming of warmer weather? Teens can make Teru Teru Bozu or traditional Japanese weather dolls that were believed to bring good weather. During this program, participants also can watch anime with other fans

Anime Club (NBL)

Come to the library each month to watch anime, draw manga, talk about different aspects of Japanese pop culture and meet other otaku.

Magically delicious Notepads! (NSL)

Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 3:30 PM -- 95th Street Library
Do-It-Yourself Craft Series
Beat the winter blahs by creating a colorful and sweet notepad out of saved cereal and snack boxes. As an added treat, a cereal bar will be served. This program has been "kid tested, mother approved."
