The Cybils Awards are Book Bloggers' picks for the best literature for children and young adults.

Last week's announcement declares the winners to be "a perfect blend of kid appeal and literary awesomeness." 

I find the CYBILS list of finalists and award winners to be a great place to find new books to read.  Unlike some awards which can reward literary quality that appeals to a narrow audience CYBILS places a strong emphasis on books that will also be popular with young people.
