Spring is the perfect time for you and your family to do some outdoor cleaning, which includes cleaning the grill for a yummy BBQ.  We want everyone to have a safe and healthy Spring so check out the Food Safety for Kids website for some great ideas. We also have many other helpful websites on the Library Website's Kids Page. Click on Kids > Weblinks > Government Sites.  You will find food and safety tips for your BBQ events.  For example, make sure you keep hot food at about 140 degrees. Remember to wash fresh fruits and vegetables with running water. Always keep foods refrigerated to slow the growth of Listeraia.  We want to say hello to healthy Spring grilling and goodbye to the cold Winter.
