It's fall so it's time to channel your inner architect and build, build, build for the winter.  Naperville Public Library is holding the Gingerbread House Display once again this year.  You will have the opportunity to share your love of building with gingerbread while your creation remains on display for an entire week in the Children's Department for the community to enjoy.  You can stop by the Children's Departments at each of our buildings to get inspiration, Nichols has already begun to display their Children's Staff creations.  Perhaps you may want to construct something that is truly spectacular then you should plan a visit to the DuPage Children's Museum where they have a special Monumental exhibit which opens on November 16, 2013.

This Friday, November 8, 2013 the City of Naperville will be revealing the Gingerbread Men Sculptures in the downtown area. The Library has a special Winter Wonderland Concert with Dave Rudolph to entertain you on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Nichols.  The performance will repeat twice once at 10:30 a.m. and again at 12:00 noon.  This program is for all ages.

"Reading is Our Thing!" so please join us for our annual Winter Family Read Aloud Program beginning on December 2, 2013 and continuing through January 31, 2014.

So start sketching out your blue prints, stock your supplies, and plan to join us for a wonderful season of fun at the Naperville Public Library.
