Once in a while, a new picture book arrives at the Library, and I just know it is extra special.
I have not lived with my parents in almost 50 years, and they have been gone for decades, but I still miss them achingly at Christmas time.
November is the ideal month to pause and reflect on how thankful I am to be part of the Children's Department at Naperville Public Library.
If you shared your life with a pet for the duration of their life, you know that your senior cat or dog is aged to perfection.
Question: What's more fun than a barrel of monkeys?
Answer: Dogs in the Library!
I look forward to the month of March every year. I cannot bear the thought of one more snowflake, one more day of frigid winds, one more day of icy sidewalks.
