I hear singing in my backyard. Luckily, I know who the singers are! The robins are back in Illinois this early spring, and vocalizing in full force. Welcome, red-breasted birds!
It is exciting to discover the new technology contstantly being developed to entertain and educate our young children (think IPAD, Kindle, Minecraft, E-audio books).
Once in a while, a new picture book arrives at the Library, and I just know it is extra special.
I have not lived with my parents in almost 50 years, and they have been gone for decades, but I still miss them achingly at Christmas time.
