On April 27th, come to the 95th Street Library for a special day of celebration. Join us for dance performances, storytimes, crafts and activities from many cultures as we celebrate children, families and reading. Check our website for more information. It's A Holiday Somewhere In The World
10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
Hop aboard our magic carpet as we travel around the world to celebrate holidays from far and near! This special program of books, songs and stories complements our April 27 library-wide celebration of diversity with books,
EL DIA DE LOS NINOS/ EL DIA DE LOS LIBROS (CHILDREN'S DAY/BOOK DAY).

Storytelling Through Indian Dance
11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Join Anjal Chande, dance artist and Director of Soham Dance Space, as she presents a lively workshop and performance of classical Indian dance. Children will use their imagination to explore emotions, hand gestures, rhythm and other tools that make a story come alive.

Language Stars - Spanish
1:15 - 2:00 p.m.
Bring the world to your child and enjoy games and activities with teachers from Language Stars in Spanish.

Hana Hou Hula Productions
2:30 - 3:00 p.m.
"Hana Hou" in Hawaiian means "once more." Experience authentic Polynesian dance and music worthy of an encore and share the Aloha spirit.
