If you've just read (or watched) The Hobbit and are craving more fantasy, here are some titles to enjoy on your next quest!

Elves, Dwarves and Dragons: The Dragonlance Saga by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. Old friends gather once more as the world of Krynn prepares for war. Start with Dragons of Autumn Twilight.

Magic and Mythology:
The Mists of Avalon
by Marion Zimmer Bradley. The story of Camelot is woven with fantasy as told in this book, across three generations of women in King Arthur's family.

 Wide Worlds:
A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin. This sweeping series encompasses the battles, loves, treachery and victory of the people in the lands of Westeros as they make and break alliances. You may already be familiar with the story from the HBO series, but the books give insight into the depth of characters and the breadth of their world.
