It's almost summer reading program time, and you can join us and READ YOUR BRAINS OUT! Starting June 2 you'll start seeing a lot of zombies around the library...they're our theme this year, and there are plenty of books to go along with it! If you haven't read any, maybe it's time to open your brain, err, mind to some creepy new reads.

You can start out with the Walking Dead graphic novels, World War Z, short story anthologies such as The New Dead, or series like White Trash Zombie.

If the undead aren't your style, go for a more classic summer read. For a summer romance, you could try a Nora Roberts offering, a sweet Amish love story, or a good old-fashioned Harlequin romance! If you want a lighthearted mystery, check out the Flavia de Luce series by Alan Bradley. Or if humorous fiction will hit the spot, Christopher Moore is there to provide wicked wit.

Don't forget to check the Hot shelves for a new book as you prepare for the hot days! Slather on some sunscreen and take some time for R&R: READING and relaxation!
