Whether your free time falls in the daytime or evening, there's always an opportunity for you to join in the book discussion at Naperville Public Library!

On Thursday, June 19 at 7 p.m. the Constant Readers Evening Book Club will discuss The Lowland by Jhumpa Lahiri. In this novel, brothers Subhash and Udayan are extremely close yet differ greatly from one another. The rift widens when Subhash leaves India, but when a family tragedy forces him to return home, the brothers are impelled to heal the wounds of their family. Set in turbulent 1960s Calcutta, this New York Times Notable Book is a moving family saga and provides much food for thought!

On Tuesday, June 24 at 10:30 a.m. the Readers Rendezvous Daytime Book Club meets to talk about A Spear of Summer Grass by Deanna Raybourn. Transplanted from 1920s Paris to colonial Kenya, Delilah must find her place as the keeper of a neglected estate and an outsider in a beautiful but dangerous land.

Both Book Clubs meet in the Nichols Library Lower Level Board Room. See you there!
