Do you love to explore, be creative and have fun? If you’re in 3rd-5th grade, come join us at 95th Street for Library Explorers, a new program that meets twice a month on Wednesdays at 4:15 pm.
In September, the kids made cool silhouette shapes of them doing an activity they enjoy such as baseball, ballet, archery, or karate. You can view the silhouettes on display at the 95th Street Children’s Department. At our second program in September, we explored the science of sound and were introduced to a variety of musical instruments.
October 9: Making and flying paper airplanes and gliders
October 23: Grossology
November 6: Building and Designing with LEGO’s
November 20: Game Day
Nichols is also offering Library Explorers weekly on Thursday afternoons at 4:15 pm. Please check our website for further information about this program.
