Don't see a book or DVD on the shelves?  Don't even see it in the catalog?  Don't have four weeks to wait for it via InterLibrary Loan or Suggest a Purchase?  Don't feel like pouting any longer?

Give LINKin a try!

As a Naperville Public Library cardholder, you can search the LINKin catalog for items we don't own locally (or are checked out) and place a request from one of six other suburban libraries: Arlington Heights Public Library, Cook Memorial Library, Smiling Woman ReadingLINKin LogoDeerfield Public Library, Gail Borden Library, Skokie Public Library, and Waukegan Public Library.  As long as it's on the shelf somewhere, you can have it sent directly to your chosen Naperville Public Library building and return it there, too!  Items typically arrive in one week, and loan periods are extended for your convenience.

Check out our LINKin information page if you have further questions, and then launch the LINKin catalog to get started!  You'll need to provide your first and last names, your card barcode number, and your preferred pick-up location in order to place a request.  Anyone at our public services desks will also be glad to help you.

There now, you can smile again!
