Retro Crafts for Kids (NSL)

Children can enjoy a blast from the past with some groovy cool crafts from the ?'70s and ?'80s. Kids can create a different retro craft at each session and perhaps restart the trend all over again. For children in 3rd through 5th grades. Room limit of 20 participants.

ATTENTION! Students entering 1st through 5th grades, do you want to spend time reading aloud with an older student? This non-tutoring program is intended to provide children with an opportunity to spend time reading aloud with a student volunteer. Come to the library at one of the times listed below. Children will be paired with a volunteer entering 6th through 12th grades and will spend the one-hour session taking turns reading aloud. Depending on attendance, a child may be placed in a group.

Teens can put themselves in front of any background using the 'green screen. Whether they want to be in front of the Eiffel Tower, meeting a celebrity or playing a sport with a favorite athlete, teens can use software to edit their images.
