Robotics Club (95th)

We have robots! Come play with our LEGO Mindstorm robots and LEGO WeDos. Learn how to program the robots to do your commands and master new feats. You'll also get to experiment with our Makey Makey invention kit (maybe control a video game with Play-Doh or play a piano with bananas!). This time you will even get to make your own ArtBot!

Make It! Take It! (95th)

Friday, April 18, 2014 at 9:30 AM -- 95th Street Library
Join us for a fun program of stories and crafts for you and your preschooler. Activities will be geared toward children 3 - 4-years, but 5-year-olds are welcome to attend. Younger siblings may accompany the older child - there will be coloring sheets for them. At least one adult caregiver must attend with their children. Limit of 20 children doing crafts.

A 20-minute interactive program of stories, songs and fingerplays for toddlers from 2 - 3 years and their accompanying adult. In addition, strategies will be presented to enhance early learning opportunities right in your home! No younger or older siblings allowed.

Microsoft Word 2013 Level 2 (95th)

Are you already comfortable with the Level 1 topics? Then this class is for you! Add interest to your documents with borders, backgrounds, text effects, pictures and clip art. Create and modify bulleted and numbered lists; insert headers and footers. Use tab stops and special characters like a pro.

Please note that we are offering Microsoft Office 2013 hands-on group classes in a series at the same time and location one week apart. Register for any level in a series if you are proficient with the topics in the lower level(s) of that series. You will receive exercises in the lower level classes to use for practice before taking the next level.

There is a non-refundable, non-transferable attendance fee for each class that must be paid at the time of registration. You can transfer to another class with one weeks' advance notice. If you cannot attend a class for any reason, please let the Computer Lab staff know so that we can offer the spot to someone on the waiting list. Unless noted below, the fees are:
Naperville Public Library card holders: $10
Reciprocal Borrowers: $20

Group Classes are appropriate for adults and students grade 8 and above. Stop by the Computer Lab desk at any of our facilities for more information and to register!
