This 30-minute program of stories, songs and more is for children of all ages. In addition, strategies will be presented to enhance early learning opportunities right in your home! At least one parent or adult caregiver is required to accompany children to these fun filled programs.

Those bummed that they can?'t go to Comic Con this year can go to the library?'s version of the fun comic book convention. Teens can dress up like their favorite character, play Settlers of Catan or try out the ?"Game of Thrones?" card game. Participants can bring their own favorite games to play and enjoy some superhero-inspired snacks.

ATTENTION! Students entering 1st through 5th grades, do you want to spend time reading aloud with an older student? This non-tutoring program is intended to provide children with an opportunity to spend time reading aloud with a student volunteer. Come to the library at one of the times listed below. Children will be paired with a volunteer entering 6th through 12th grades and will spend the one-hour session taking turns reading aloud. Depending on attendance, a child may be placed in a group.

DuPage Children's Museum Programs Come Play With Us At The Library! (NSL)

The museum?'s early learning specialist and community access coordinator will provide play facilitation techniques utilizing portable versions of full-sized exhibits. In addition, library staff will demonstrate the power of play through storytime. This program is presented in partnership with DuPage Children?'s Museum.
