Join Michael Ribet, who has been practicing meditation for over 40 years as he discusses how meditation can improve our physical, mental and spiritual health. He will present effective methods for creating a more satisfying lifestyle including harmonious relationships and a deep sense of peace. Participants will learn effective strategies and a simple but profound meditation technique that will help remove stress and worry. The audience will have a chance to practice this simple technique that can reduce stress, enhance relaxation and promote inner growth.?

Button Creation (95th)

Using computer design software, individuals can create a unique design or image to be placed on a 1.5-inch button of which they can wear for fun or promote their business. Participants can bring a favorite picture or image to class. Program requires advanced registration and is limited to 12 participants.

Arduino workshops: Arduino Free Build (NIC)

In this workshop, participants can use available components to create a project of their choice. No group instruction will be offered, and prior experience or attendance at one of the library?'s previous Arduino programs is recommended. *Program requires advanced registration.

Commercial Editing (95th)

Business owners can learn how to edit videos using iMovie to make their commercials look more professional. The class also will teach how to upload and promote the video on social media such as YouTube and WordPress. Program requires advanced registration and is limited to 12 participants.

Movie lovers can visit the library each month for a screening of a newly released DVD. Skip the long lines at the theater as well as the long hold lists at the library and see a movie with other like-minded film buffs. Check the library?'s website, www.naperville-lib.org, for upcoming titles. No one younger than age 18 will be admitted to an R-rated movie without a parent or guardian.

Stitching in the stacks(NIC)

Stitch with the library's community knit, crochet and needlecraft club. Crafters can share tips and ideas as well as showcase their latest project or ask for help on a project they may be struggling to complete. Along with good company, conversation and refreshments, attendees will learn about charity projects, share ideas and patterns or swap materials. Books on knitting, crocheting and needlecrafts will be available. All skill levels may attend.

Criminal Spines Book Club (NBL)
