How to Steal a Dog - Living in the family car in their small North Carolina town after their father leaves them virtually penniless, Georgina, desperate to improve their situation and unwilling to accept her overworked mother's calls for patience, persuades her younger brother to help her in an elaborate scheme to get money by stealing a dog and then claiming the reward that the owners are bound to offer.

Come to the library for a child-and-parent book discussion group. The child and parent/adult will read the selected book together and then attend the club?'s meeting to discuss it with others while enjoying a cookie or two. Each book will be chosen at the preceding meeting and listed on the library?'s website, The library will have multiple copies of each title available for checkout.

Tracing Your Family Tree - Dropin Help(NIC)

A volunteer from the Fox Valley Genealogical Society will explain family sources, vital records and how to make use of online resources. Participants also will learn about the genealogical resources available in their community, including cemeteries, courthouses and churches. Volunteers from the fox valley genealogical society also will be available for drop-in help on the first Tuesday and third Thursday of the month.
