Lovers of young adult literature can sign up for the library's online Goodreads book club. Each month, a new book will be selected, and readers can discuss it online through the participants' Goodreads account. Request to join the group "Yay for YA!: An Online Book Club" online at www.goodreads.com, or email teen librarian Alison Colman at acolman@naperville-lib.org. Sign up early to take a poll on what book selection the club should read first. The first book will be posted on June 1, and participants will have the entire month to read it and discuss.

College application and essay writing seminar (95th)

Applying for college can be a daunting task, but help is available at the library. C2 Education will discuss the ins and out of college applications, including tips on writing the essay. Students also will learn how to best show off their academic achievements and activities. The seminar is geared for high school students in 10th through 12th grades and their parents.

High school survival guide (NIC)

Students can get prepared for the school year as upperclassman from local high schools will share tips and best practices about their own experiences surviving high school. Teens will also learn how to make life easier by using the library?'s online resources and homework help.
