DuPage Symphony Orchestra will present a free, fun-filled evening of chamber music appropriate for all ages. The informal performance will include an engaging question-and-answer session with the musicians after the program.

Parents are faced with many overwhelming decisions like choosing the best healthcare practitioner, preschool or non-toxic cleaning products for their family. They invest much time and energy researching different doctors and products, and sometimes they may not know what questions to even ask. This expo will feature local businesses and healthcare practitioners, as well as products and services catered to families with young children and expectant mothers.

Movie lovers can visit the library each month for a screening of a newly released DVD. Skip the long lines at the theater as well as the long hold lists at the library and see a movie with other like-minded film buffs. Check the library?'s website, www.naperville-lib.org, for upcoming titles. No one younger than age 18 will be admitted to an R-rated movie without a parent or guardian.

To Be Announced
Come to the library for a child-and-parent book discussion group. The child and parent/adult will read the selected book together and then attend the club?'s meeting to discuss it with others while enjoying a cookie or two. Each book will be chosen at the preceding meeting and listed on the library?'s website, www.naperville-lib.org. The library will have multiple copies of each title available for checkout.

Stitch with the library's community knit, crochet and needlecraft club. Crafters can share tips and ideas as well as showcase their latest project or ask for help on a project they may be struggling to complete. Along with good company, conversation and refreshments, attendees will learn about charity projects, share ideas and patterns or swap materials. Books on knitting, crocheting and needlecrafts will be available. All skill levels may attend.
Tracing Your Family Tree - Dropin Help(NIC)Tuesday, May 05, 2015 at 6:30 PM -- Nichols Library
A volunteer from the Fox Valley Genealogical Society will explain family sources, vital records and how to make use of online resources. Participants also will learn about the genealogical resources available in their community, including cemeteries, courthouses and churches. Volunteers from the fox valley genealogical society also will be available for drop-in help on the first Tuesday and third Thursday of the month.

Linda and Jim Weichel, members of the Fox Valley Genealogical Society, will demonstrate Ancestry.com, a popular website for researching family history. This presentation will cover ways to use this database in genealogical research to find records and information about ancestors and family lines.
