Socialize with other readers at Quigley's Irish Pub (43 E. Jefferson St.) in downtown Naperville and share recent reads and favorite titles. Arrive at 6:15pm to purchase dinner, or join the group at 7pm for the discussion only.

Stitching in the Stacks (NBL)

Tuesday, December 08, 2015 at 1:00 PM -- Naper Boulevard Library
Stitch with the library's community knit, crochet and needlecraft group. This season's Pay it Forward community project will be knitting or crocheting 7 x 9 inch Afghan squares to create blankets to donate to Family Shelter Services. Knitters also can bring their own projects to work on with fellow crafters. All skill levels may attend, and experienced crafters are welcome to share their expertise and work with staff to help beginners.

Genealogy: Drop-in help (NBL)

A volunteer from the Fox Valley Genealogical Society will be available in the adult services department to help any interested individuals who wish to obtain assistance either to get started on a genealogy project or to complete difficult genealogical research challenges.

Criminal Spines Book Club (NBL)

"Stolen" by Lucy Christopher
Peer into humanity's darker nature via the world of criminals and detectives. This book club will read and discuss mysteries, thrillers, suspense novels and true crime. Plot twists and red herrings are the order of the day, while the level of violence will vary from author to author.

Great Books Discussion Group (NBL)

"Selected Poems by Wislawa Szymborska"

Great Books Discussion Group meets the third Tuesday of the month from Sept. through May and discusses readings from "Great Conversations 3" by the Great Books Foundation. Books will be available on a firstcome,first-served basis at Nichols Library and Naper Blvd. Library or can be purchased from The Great Books
