Kids Events for the Month of August
Riverwalk Storytimes (NIC)
Tuesday, August 06, 2013 at 7:00 PM -- Nichols LibraryEvening On The Riverwalk
Join us for our popular Riverwalk program -- fun for the whole family! Bring a meal or a snack. Enjoy stories, songs and a puppet show, all presented by Children's Services staff from our three libraries. In the event of bad weather, the program will be held in the Community Room of the Nichols Library. (The Wednesday lunchtime program will be a repeat of the Tuesday evening program.) These programs are presented in partnership with the Naperville Park District.
There will be no Riverwalk programs on July 2nd and 3rd.

Baby Play Date (NBL)
Thursday, August 08, 2013 at 9:30 AM -- Naper Boulevard LibraryStroll into the library with your baby for a fun play date. This program includes 20 minutes of stories, songs and bounces, followed by 10 minutes of exploratory play. This play date is the perfect opportunity for children to share some interactive time with their caregivers and to meet new friends. For babies from birth through 23 months and their caregivers only.

Kids' Stories Come To Life At The Library! (NIC)
Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM -- Nichols LibraryIn early July we have selected 2 - 5 of the stories submitted to our writing contest to be adapted for a performance. If your story is selected, library staff will call you. On August 14, library staff will read your story aloud adding enhancements like puppets, props, sound effects or costumes. We invite everyone to come see what the selected authors have written for us at this performance.
