  • Naperville Reads brings an author to town for free programs. The entire community is invited to read the featured book. Read more...
  • Summer Reading Program
    A summer full of events and reading activities for children, teens and adults. It is typically held from June to early August. There are many volunteer opportunities for grade 6-12 students.
  • Winter Reading Program
    This is typically held in December between the Fall andWinter/Spring Programs. It offer reading activities for children and teens.
  • Teen Tech Week
    This is typically held in spring of each year. It aims to encourage teens to be competent and ethical users of technologies. Look for more information in the future.
  • National Library Week
    It aims to celebrate the contribution of libraries and to promote library use and support. It is typically held in spring of each year. Look for more information in the future.
  • National Poetry Month
    Inaugurated by the Academy of American Poets in 1996, National Poetry Month is now held every April, when publishers, booksellers, literary organizations, libraries, schools and poets around the country band together to celebrate poetry and its vital place in American culture.
