The latest craze in crafting is the Rainbow Loom, designed to weave rubber bands into bracelets. If you don't have one just yet, join us as we show you how you can create your own with just your hands and a crochet hook! We will provide enough to create one bracelet for each teen. If you have a Rainbow Loom, feel free to bring it by to show your friends your weaving skills!

It's March Madness time but instead of NCAA basketball, our brackets are full of Young Adult books! We've randomly selected 32 YA titles and placed them in our YA March Madness Brackets. On March 1, you can start casting your ballots for your favorite YA books in the first round. Each week, the field will be narrowed down to the final showdown on March 30 and a YA March Madness Champion will be crowned on April 1! Get free tax preparation help for low-income households and workers earning less than $50,000 a year. Please bring proof of identification: Social Security card, Wage and Earning Statement(s) (W-2), interest income from banks (1099) and a copy of your 2012 federal income tax return. Appointments not accepted. Clients will be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis. Numbers will be given out at the UPPER LEVEL ENTRANCE ONLY. Bring a book or choose one of ours. Parents and siblings are invited to greet the dogs at 12:30 p.m. on the day of the program.

Celebrate Teen Tech Week: DIY @ Your Library, March 9 - 15! Stop by and see our "famous" Post-It Note creations or attend one of our tech themed programs during the week! Plus, we want you to get into the action! Using your Instagram account, take a photo of yourself using our Teen Craft Tables at Nichols or just doing any craft anywhere and then share it using the hashtag #DIYNPL and we'll share them on our own Instagrams all week long! Show off your DIY talents with the world!
