Curious Kids (NIC)

It?'s full STEAM ahead as curious kids can come to the library twice a month to join in activities featuring science, technology, engineering, art and math. For children in kindergarten through 2nd grade.

Investing workshop:Morningstar Investment Research Center (NIC)

This comprehensive review of the Morningstar Investment Research Center, an online resource at the library, will teach investors how to access dozens of professional-level online courses to enhance investing knowledge. Attendees can learn how to use investing tools such as stock or fund screeners to make selections, the portfolio X-ray to evaluate and balance asset allocations and professional analyst reports on companies and funds.

Fantasy Football League Draft Night

Get ready for some football! Join the library's teen fantasy football league for a live online draft, lasting about one and a half hours. Participants can make their draft picks from their home computers, and since the league is private, only teens from Naperville Public Library will be able to take part in the draft.

To participate, email Alison Colman, teen services librarian at 95th Street Library, at, and include the participant's first and last name and email address by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4. The winner of the league will receive a 3-D printed trophy, a gift card and bragging rights until next year.
*Program requires advanced registration and does not take place at the library.

Make It! Take It! (NIC)

Tuesday, September 08, 2015 at 7:00 PM -- Nichols Library
Preschoolers and their caregivers can enjoy this fun program of stories and crafts. The activities will be geared toward 3- and 4-year-olds, but 5-year-olds are welcome to attend. Younger siblings may accompany the older child as coloring sheets will be available for them. At least one adult caregiver must attend with the child. This program is limited to 20 children making crafts.

Family Storytime (95th)

This 30-minute program of stories, songs and more fun activities is for children of all ages. In addition, strategies will be presented to enhance early learning opportunities at home. At least one parent or adult caregiver is required to accompany their children.
