Squishy Circuits For Tweens (95th)

Kids who like art and science are invited to explore Squishy Circuits, a hands-on program to learn the basics of electrical circuits using Play-Doh. Whose creation will light up first? For students in 4th through 6th grades and is limited to 16 participants.

Criminal Spines Book Club (NBL)

Peer into humanity's darker nature via the world of criminals and detectives. This book club discusses mysteries, thrillers, suspense novels and true crime. Red herrings swim and plot twists are the order of the day. Puppet Palooza (95th)

Come to a puppet event of extraordinary proportions! Three or four, maybe more, short fun-filled puppet plays will be presented. Children will be invited to sing and dance during intermissions.

Family Storytime (NIC)

This 30-minute program of stories, songs and more fun activities is for children of all ages. In addition, strategies will be presented to enhance early learning opportunities at home. At least one parent or adult caregiver is required to accompany their children.

EXCEL 1 (95th)

Learn how to auto-fill, format data and adjust cells and the different ways to insert and move data cells using Microsoft Excel. *Program requires advanced registration with a fee and is limited to 12 participants.
This class is appropriate for adults and students in 8th grade or older and are limited to 12 participants. Registration is taken at the computer lab desks.

Participants can transfer to another class with one week's advance notice. If individuals cannot attend a class for any reason, they should inform the computer lab staff so the spot may be available to an individual on the waiting list.

Kinder Tag at Christkindlmarket Naperville

As the Christkindlmarket brings its cherished German and European tradition with international flair and local charm to Naper Settlement, Naperville Public Library will help celebrate at Christkindlmarket Naperville's Children's Day. Enjoy a day full of kid-friendly events, including a special storytime provided by library staff at 2:15 and 3 p.m. Attendees also can visit with the Christkind, a fairy-like being that is the bearer of gifts to children in German-speaking countries. Kids also can join an evening lantern parade, a tradition celebrated by German school children in honor of all good Samaritans. Registration for the parade starts at 3:30 p.m. Admission to the market is free. The market will be at Naper Settlement from Nov. 25 through Dec. 24.
