Microsoft Excel 2013 Level 3 (95th)

Are you proficient with the Level 1 and 2 topics? Then join us as we work with complex formulas; modify and format charts and tables; and correct errors. Learn how to hide rows and columns; use split screen, freeze panes, worksheet views and more!

Please note that we are offering Microsoft Office 2013 hands-on group classes in a series at the same time and location one week apart. Register for any level in a series if you are proficient with the topics in the lower level(s) of that series. You will receive exercises in the lower level classes to use for practice before taking the next level.

There is a non-refundable, non-transferable attendance fee for each class that must be paid at the time of registration. You can transfer to another class with one weeks' advance notice. If you cannot attend a class for any reason, please let the Computer Lab staff know so that we can offer the spot to someone on the waiting list. Unless noted below, the fees are:
Naperville Public Library card holders: $10
Reciprocal Borrowers: $20

Group Classes are appropriate for adults and students grade 8 and above. Stop by the Computer Lab desk at any of our facilities for more information and to register!

College Grad ... Now What? (NIC)Moved to June 30

This session will give recent college graduates the tools they need to transition from college to a career. Learn how to plan for the job search by writing a resume based on results, transferring classes, projects and activities to job skills, exploring the hidden job market through networking, and gathering tips on how to win the "interview game." At the end of the session the participants will be empowered and have an understanding of what they need to do to execute a successful job search.

Family Storytime (95th)

This 30-minute program of stories, songs and more is for children of all ages. In addition, strategies will be presented to enhance early learning opportunities right in your home! At least one parent or adult caregiver is required to accompany children to these fun filled programs.

Make It! Take It! (NIC)

Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 7:00 PM -- Nichols Library
Join us for a fun program of stories and crafts for you and your preschooler. Activities will be geared toward children 3 - 4-years, but 5-year-olds are welcome to attend. Younger siblings may accompany the older child - there will be coloring sheets for them. At least one adult caregiver must attend with their children. Limit of 20 children doing crafts.

Fourth Annual Teen Poetry Contest (NPL)

In celebration of National Poetry Month, we are sponsoring our 4th Annual Teen Poetry Contest! There will be three divisions: 6th grade, 7th & 8th grades, and high school. The contest begins on April 1 and the deadline for entries is 9:00 p.m. on April 30. Winners will be announced on May 14 and the winning poems will be posted online. Prizes to area bookstores will be awarded. Pick up an entry form at any Naperville Public Library location or enter online at www.naperville-lib.org/teens/teenpoetrycontest2014. You will have time after the program to share board books and other featured titles with your little one. An adult caregiver must attend with each child. The only exception is in the case of twins.

Tales For 2's & 3's (NIC)
