Book & Cookie Club (NIC)

Thursday, August 04, 2016 at 7:00 PM -- Nichols Library
August title: The Wild Robot  by Peter Brown
Visit the library for a child-and-parent book discussion group. The child and parent/adult will read the selected book together and then attend the club's meeting to discuss it with others while enjoying a cookie or two. Each book will be chosen at the preceding meeting and listed on the library's website, www.naperville-lib.org. The library will have multiple copies of each title available for checkout. For children in 3rd through 5th grades. Program is limited to 15 child/parent pairs.

Family Storytime (95th)

This 30-minute program of stories, songs and other activities is for children of all ages. In addition, staff members will present strategies to enhance early learning opportunities at home. At least one parent or adult caregiver is required to accompany children to these fun-filled programs.

On the night before his big day, he has an enthralling dream that takes him to ancient Greece where he teams up with audience members to explore the first Olympic Games. This program is presented by Traveling Lantern Theatre Company.
