It’s A Pirate’s Life!
Ahoy there, Mateys! Are you in grades K to 2 and ready for some pirate fun? Walk the plank to our place, take a plunge into the pirate world as a rogue of the high seas and become a real live buccaneer. Dates and locations are Friday, Feb. 1, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., 95th Street Library, 3015 Cedar Glade Dr.; Monday, Feb. 18, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Nichols Library, 200 W. Jefferson Ave. and Wednesday, Feb. 20, 4 to 5 p.m., Naper Boulevard Library, 2035 S. Naper Blvd.
“The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring” (PG-13)
Come watch the film that started the award winning saga: “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” on Friday, Feb. 1, 4 to 8:30 p.m., Naper Boulevard Library, 2035 S. Naper Blvd. During our extended viewing, we’ll feast on some lembas (Elvish bread), partake in some of the Gaffer’s home brew (root beer) and you’ll leave with your name translated into Sindarin, one of the Elvish languages! It’ll be the “One Gathering to Rule them All!“
Andrews Sisters Musical Revue
The Legacy Girls are here to perform toe-tapping hits of the famous Andrew Sisters with tight 3-part harmonies, costumes and synchronized choreography, not to mention that comedic flair! Boogie Woogie back to the 30’s and 40’s with all your favorites on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m., 95th Street Library, 3015 Cedar Glade Dr. This program is program is partially funded by a grant from the City of Naperville.
Join Us for Library Trivia Night at Jimmy’s Grill
Is your head full of completely random knowledge? Put all of those pointless facts to use! Join us at Jimmy’s Grill, 245 S. Washington St., on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. for a fun night of trivia and prizes. Participants play individually or in teams, no more than four members per team.
