Free, Discounted Admission Passes to Area Museums Available at Naperville Public Library

Naperville Public Library (NPL) cardholders can check out free or discounted admission passes to 16 local museums through the Museum Adventure Pass Program.

The Program supports educational and cultural experiences by providing affordable access to places such as the Brookfield Zoo, the Chicago Botanical Garden, and the recently added Legoland Discovery Center in Schaumburg.

Originally funded by Macy’s, the Museum Adventure Pass Program is now supported through participating libraries and sponsors. The program, along with 185 participating libraries, has issued over 135,000 passes since 2009.

Passes can be checked out at a Children’s Reference Desk at any of the three NPL locations. Each pass is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and is valid for one week. One pass per family may be checked out each loan period, and can be used only once. Admission Pass guidelines vary per museum. For a complete list of participating museums and detailed pass information, visit www.museumadventure.org.

To inquire about pass availability, visit any NPL Children’s Reference Desk or call (630) 961-4900, ext. 4961 (95th Street), ext. 2208 (Naper Blvd.) or ext. 6128.
