The Library provides the following computer access options at the computer lab for all locations:

• Level 2 Filtering (highest level provided): In addition to blocking materials that are obscene or deemed harmful to minors, prohibits access to Chat Rooms, Instant Messaging Services, and Websites devoted to hacking information.  Permits Email.  All computers located in the Children’s Services Departments are set to Level 2 filtering.
• Level 1 Filtering (lowest level provided): Materials that are obscene or deemed harmful to minors are blocked. Permits Email, Instant Messaging, and Chat Rooms. Not available in Children's Services Departments.
• Unfiltered: Users have access to all Websites. No blocking of any Website occurs.  Not available in Children's Services Departments.
