Check out the displays in Children's, Adult & Teen Services departments at all three libraries to learn more about Naperville.
So, You Think You Know Naperville? Challenge yourself by answering questions about our community's history. Participants can pick up a quiz at any Naperville Public Library location. Complete the quiz and drop it in a raffle box for a chance to win a prize. Prize winners will be contacted starting June 3. This quiz is for teens in grades 6 - 12 and adults. A current Naperville Public Library card is required to participate. For more information, please contact the Nichols Library Adult Services Desk at 630-961-4100, ext. 6311.

Lapsit Storytime (95th)

An introduction to storytime for children ages birth - 23 months. This 20-minute interactive program includes stories, songs and fingerplays. You will have time after the program to share board books and other featured titles with your little one. An adult caregiver must attend with each child. The only exception is in the case of twins.

A special storytime for the 3-year-old child, who may not be comfortable participating in storytime alone. Parent/caregiver attendance is optional. We hope that after several storytimes, your 3-year-old will be ready to attend without a parent or caregiver.

Make It! Take It! (NIC)

Join us for a fun program of stories and crafts for you and your preschooler. Activities will be geared to 3 and 4-year-olds, but 5-year-olds are welcome to attend. Younger siblings may accompany the older child - there will be coloring sheets for them. At least one adult caregiver must attend with their children. Limit 20 children doing crafts.

Family Storytime (95th)

This 30-minute program of stories, songs and more is for children of all ages. At least one parent or adult caregiver is required to accompany children to these fun-filled programs.

Jedi Training Academy (95th)

Wednesday, May 01, 2013 at 4:15 PM -- 95th Street Library
The force is strong with this program! Hone your Jedi Powers. You'll make a light saber and learn the ways of the force to become a Jedi padawan and receive your Jedi name. May the force be with you. For children in grades 3 - 5. Limited to 25 children per program.
