Winter Family Reading Program - Reading is So Sweet

Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 9:00 AM -- All Libraries
Families with children in 5th grade and younger can sign up starting Tuesday, Dec.1. Children will earn prizes and coupons for reading together as a family and doing other family-fun activities. All participants will be entered into drawings to win Chicago Wolves Hockey tickets and a grand prize.

Family Storytime (NIC)

Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 10:30 AM -- Nichols Library
This 30-minute program of stories, songs and more fun activities is for children of all ages. In addition, strategies will be presented to enhance early learning opportunities at home. At least one parent or adult caregiver is required to accompany their children.

3-D printing & Cookie Creations (95th)

Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 4:30 PM -- 95th Street Library
Children will use Cookie Caster software to create a custom 3-D printable cookie cutter design and will also decorate cookies.
For children in 3rd through 5th grades. Program requires advanced registration and is limited to 15 children. Children may sign up for only one of the six programs offered.

Book & Cookie Club (NBL)

Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 7:00 PM -- Naper Boulevard Library
Visit the library for a child-and-parent book discussion group. The child and parent/adult will read the selected book together and then attend the club's meeting to discuss it with others while enjoying a cookie or two. Each book will be chosen at the preceding meeting and listed on the library's website, http://www.naperville-lib.org. The library will have multiple copies of each title available for checkout.


For children in 3rd through 5th grades. Program is limited to 15 child/parent pairs. Advanced registration is required for 95th Street and Naper Blvd. libraries.
