Tuesday, July 09, 2013 at 1:30 PM -- 95th Street LibraryATTENTION! Students entering 1st - 5th grade, do you want to spend time reading aloud with an older student? This non-tutoring program is intended to provide students with an opportunity to spend some enjoyable time reading aloud with a student volunteer. Come to the library at one of the times listed below. You will be paired with a volunteer entering 6th - 12th grade and will spend the one-hour session taking turns reading aloud. Depending on attendance, you may be placed in a group. Those arriving more than 10 minutes late cannot be guaranteed placement with a partner. Please note: It is expected that all participants will be independent readers. You may bring your own book or select one at the library.

A Mad Hatter's Tea Party (NIC)
Tuesday, July 09, 2013 at 3:00 PM -- Nichols LibraryJoin us for a celebration of the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, inspired by Alice in Wonderland. We will read stories, sing songs, play silly games and make a craft. Don't forget to wear your favorite party hat! For children in K - 3rd grade.
Riverwalk Storytimes (NIC)

Join us for our popular Riverwalk program -- fun for the whole family! Bring a meal or a snack. Enjoy stories, songs and a puppet show, all presented by Children's Services staff from our three libraries. In the event of bad weather, the program will be held in the Community Room of the Nichols Library. (The Wednesday lunchtime program will be a repeat of the Tuesday evening program.) These programs are presented in partnership with the Naperville Park District.
There will be no Riverwalk programs on July 2nd and 3rd.

Baby Play Date (NBL)
Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 9:30 AM -- Naper Boulevard LibraryStroll into the library with your baby for a fun play date. This program includes 20 minutes of stories, songs and bounces, followed by 10 minutes of exploratory play. This play date is the perfect opportunity for children to share some interactive time with their caregivers and to meet new friends. For babies from birth through 23 months and their caregivers only.
Have Book Will Travel Magic Show (NIC)

Take a magical road trip and talk about the many places in the world and beyond that books can take you. This program is full of surprises, smiles and good clean fun for children and their families as the magic words, "I LOVE MY LIBRARY" are repeated several times by the audience throughout the program. This program is partially funded by a grant from the City of Naperville.
