Genealogy Workshop: Italian Genealogy Research (NIC)

This class will start with a lecture on the 20 Italian words needed to translate Italian records. It then will teach about how to examine birth, marriage and death records and how to translate them. Attendees also will learn about the migration patterns from southern Italy as well as the country's history when the great migration began. Presenter Linda Davenport, whose expertise is southern Italian genealogy, has been volunteering at Naperville Family History Center for 15 years.

NaperLaunch Meetup: Making a Funding Pitch

John Koranda, Naperville Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank, will discuss the basic elements that a banker will expect to see in a funding request from a small business owner. John will explain the loan process, what is required of the business owner, and the minimum requirements for consideration of loan approval. A Q&A will follow and attendees may ask about other small business banking services in addition to the loan process.
