Stitch with the library's community knit, crochet and needlecraft club. Crafters can share tips and ideas as well as showcase their latest project or ask for help on a project they may be struggling to complete. Along with good company, conversation and refreshments, attendees will learn about charity projects, share ideas and patterns or swap materials. Books on knitting, crocheting and needlecrafts will be available. All skill levels may attend.

Parents can stroll into the library with their baby for a play date that allows children to share interactive bonding time with their caregivers and meet new friends. This program will include 20 minutes of stories, songs and bouncing fun as well as 10 minutes of exploratory play. For infants to 23-month-olds and their caregivers.
Family Storytime (NIC)Friday, July 10, 2015 at 10:30 AM -- Nichols Library
This 30-minute program of stories, songs and more fun activities is for children of all ages. In addition, strategies also will be presented to enhance early learning opportunities at home. At least one parent or adult caregiver is required to accompany children.
Comic book magnets (NIC)Friday, July 10, 2015 at 3:00 PM -- Nichols Library
Teens will use old graphic novels and comic books to make superhero magnets. Supplies will be provided, but participants can also bring any small pictures to use for their magnets.

Students entering 1st through 5th grades can spend time reading aloud with an older student. This non-tutoring program is intended to provide students an opportunity to spend enjoyable time reading aloud with a student volunteer. Students will be paired with a volunteer entering 6th through 12th grades and spend the one-hour session taking turns reading aloud. Depending on attendance, participants may be placed in a group.
