Lapsit Storytime (NIC)

An introduction to storytime for infants to 23-month-olds. This 20-minute interactive program will include stories, songs and fingerplays. Attendees will have time after the program to share board books and other featured titles with their little ones. An adult caregiver must attend with each child. The only exception is in the case of twins.

Preschool for 3s, 4s & 5s (NIC)

This 30-minute independent storytime experience is for 3 to 5-year-olds only. No younger or older siblings will be allowed.

Tales for 2s and 3s (NIC)

This 20-minute interactive program of stories, songs and fingerplays is for 2 to 3-year-olds and an accompanying adult. Strategies will be presented to enhance early learning opportunities at home. No younger or older siblings will be allowed.

Computer Basics For Seniors (NIC)

Seniors can learn basic computer terminology and practice skills, including using a computer mouse as well as opening and saving documents. Program requires advanced registration.

Library Explorers (Games, Games, Games) (NIC)

Genealogy workshop: Overview of Familysearch.org (NIC)

Christine Bell, director of Naperville Illinois Family History Center, will give an overview of the FamilySearch.org website and database, which manages the largest repository of genealogical records in the world. Attendees can learn how to access this vast collection of vital records.

Make it! Take it! (NIC)

Preschoolers and their caregivers can enjoy this fun program of stories and crafts. The activities will be geared toward 3- and 4-year-olds, but 5-year-olds are welcome to attend. Younger siblings may accompany the older child as coloring sheets will be available for them. At least one adult caregiver must attend with the child. The program is limited to 20 children creating crafts.
