Teen Movie Series (NBL)

"The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring" (PG-13)

Now that you've seen "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," come watch the extended edition of the film that started the award winning saga: "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring." During our extended viewing, we'll feast on some lembas (elvish bread), partake in some of the Gaffer's home brew (root-beer) and you'll leave with your name translated into Sindarin, one of the Elvish languages! It'll be the One Gathering to Rule them All! Stop by for the whole thing or stay as long as you can!

Special Needs Storytime (NBL)

Your whole family is invited to a 30 min. program of books, songs, and fun for children with special needs. All abilities are welcome with an adult caregiver. Please inquire at any Children's Services Desk for more information. The program will be held on the first Saturday of each month.

Make It! Take It! (NBL)

Monday, February 04, 2013 at 10:00 AM -- Naper Boulevard Library
Join us for a fun program of stories and crafts for you and your preschooler. Activities will be geared to 3 and 4-year-olds, but 5-year-olds are welcome to attend. Younger siblings may accompany the older child - there will be coloring sheets for them. At least one adult caregiver must attend with their children. Limit 20 children doing crafts.

Getting Ready For College!! (NBL)

ISAC Financial Aid Process & Overview Presentation
The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) will join us at the Library for a session that gets the conversation started about paying for college. The presentation outlines the financial aid process, identifies trusted sources of information, summarizes state and federal aid programs, and introduces the 2013-2014 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This program is presented in partnership with ISAC.
This ia a HWW program.

English Conversation Groups for ESL Students - Literacy Dupage (NBL)

These groups are designed to give English-as-a-Second-Language students a chance to practice their skills in a relaxed and comfortable environment. There is no fee for attending these classes, and one does not have to attend every session. Patrons are invited to attend whenever they can. All adult learners are welcome.
