NPL Programs for the Month of January, 2013

Make It! Take It! (NBL)

Wednesday, January 09, 2013 at 7:00 PM -- Naper Boulevard Library
Join us for a fun program of stories and crafts for you and your preschooler. Activities will be geared to 3 and 4-year-olds, but 5-year-olds are welcome to attend. Younger siblings may accompany the older child - there will be coloring sheets for them. At least one adult caregiver must attend with their children. Limit 20 children doing crafts.

Lapsit Storytime (NBL)

Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 9:30 AM -- Naper Boulevard Library
An introduction to storytime for children ages birth - 23 months. This 20-minute interactive program includes stories, songs and fingerplays. You will have time after the program to share board books and other featured titles with your little one. An adult caregiver must attend with each child. The only exception is in the case of twins.

This 30-minute program of stories, songs and more is for children of all ages. At least one parent or adult caregiver is required to accompany children to these fun-filled programs.

*TDIY (Teens Do-It-Yourself) Craft Series: Personalized Coffee Mugs (NBL)

A hot drink is the perfect remedy for those cold wintery days! So join us as we personalize some plain white coffee mugs with paint markers. Just bring your art skills and ideas and you'll leave with your own mug for your favorite warm treat!

"Happy Feet Two" (PG); 100 minutes
Children and families are invited to join us to watch movies. A short activity related to the film will start the event, followed immediately by the movie. Relax and enjoy!
