Special Needs Storytime (NBL)

Your whole family is invited to a 30 min. program of books, songs, and fun for children with special needs. All abilities are welcome with an adult caregiver. Please inquire at any Children's Services Desk for more information. The program will be held on the first Saturday of each month.

YA Book March Madness! - Bring It On! (PG-13)

OH IT'S ALREADY BEEN BROUGHT!! To kick off our YA Book March Madness Tourney, we're screening one of our favorite school spirit movies, Bring It On, starring Kirsten Dunst, Gabrielle Union and Eliza Dushku. Join us for some cheer drama and snacks and you can vote for the first round of the YA Book March Madness brackets in person.

English Conversation Groups for ESL Students - Literacy Dupage (NBL)

These groups are designed to give English-as-a-Second-Language students a chance to practice their skills in a relaxed and comfortable environment. There is no fee for attending these classes, and one does not have to attend every session. Patrons are invited to attend whenever they can. All adult learners are welcome. Black Light Theater Presents: Illuminated Tales (NBL)

Join us for this magical illuminated program where we'll tell stories in a darkened room using black lights and glow-in-the-dark puppets and props. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Recommended for children 3-years-old and older.

Great Decisions Discussion Group (NBL)

Bark For Books (NBL)

Raise your paw, grab a book and read your story to a canine friend. Our dog/handler teams are certified through local organizations and are very good listeners. Free tickets are available starting at 11:00 the morning of the program. Parents and siblings are invited to meet the dogs and take photos at 12:30 p.m. following the program. For readers in grades 1 - 5.
