Talking Books and Talking Book Players
made available by government and nonprofit organizations, provide Braille and recorded editions of fiction and nonfiction books and magazines, as well as recorded editions of textbook and technical materials. Materials and equipment are mailed postage-free to users' homes.
Naperville cardholders are served by the Voices of Vision Talking Book Center.

Web-Braille is a web-based service that provides access to thousands of Braille books, magazines, and music scores produced by the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS), Library of Congress. The service also includes a growing collection of titles transcribed locally for cooperating network libraries. The Web-Braille site is password-protected, and all files are in an electronic form of contracted braille that requires the use of special equipment for access.

NFB-Newsline Network
Offers digitized reading by phone of many local and national newspapers including the Chicago Tribune, Daily Herald, New York Times, and USA Today. Recent additions include five Spanish language newspapers and many popular magazine titles.  For further information and registration, contact the National Federation for the Blind at 1.866.504.7300.

Naperville Public Library, in partnership with Bookshare and OverDrive is pleased to introduce you to LEAP - the Library eBook Accessibility Program.
