  • The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
The Book Thief was an amazingly beautiful story. It was written very well and had one of the best story lines and plots that I have read in a long time. I recommend this book to any reader looking for something entertaining yet with a deeper meaning. Over all this book was so en-capturing and a wonderful read....

  • The Wednesday Wars by Gary D. Schmidt
I thought this book was an interesting read, because it talks about the struggles in life during 1969. Each incident that the main character was involved in brought out other traits/different sides to the supporting character which made me want to find out more about them. Overall, The Wednesday Wars was a short and good read this summer....

  • Boys R Us by Lisi Harrison
This continuation of the Clique series was a little bit confusing. The characters were arguing about unimportant topics....

  • A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness
"A Monster Calls" by Patrick Ness was truly a five star book. It was beautifully crafted and kept me thinking about the book even after I finished it. While this is a quick read it still was an honest and heart-wrenching story....

  • Forgive My Fins by Tera Lynn Childs
I loved this book a lot. It is a mermaid story with romance, jealousy, friendship, and confliction. I totally reccomend this to 6th graders and up. Also, if there was a 10, that would be my rating. The sequels, 'Just For Fins' and 'Fins Are Forever' are equally good. Unlike some books who have sequels, these sequels are so good you would think all three are one book. That is how I felt. Once I started to read the first book, I was hooked. Get all three at once so you can read them right after each other. You have to read them in order to understand them completley though, so happy reading!...
