Rubber Band Bracelets (NBL)

The latest craze in crafting is the Rainbow Loom, designed to weave rubber bands into bracelets. If you don't have one just yet, join us as we show you how you can create your own with just your hands and a crochet hook! We will provide enough to create one bracelet for each teen. If you have a Rainbow Loom, feel free to bring it by to show your friends your weaving skills!

Robotics Club (NIC)

We have robots! Come play with our LEGO Mindstorm robots and LEGO WeDos. Learn how to program the robots to do your commands and master new feats. You'll also get to experiment with our Makey Makey invention kit (maybe control a video game with Play-Doh or play a piano with bananas!). This time you will even get to make your own ArtBot!

ACT Kaplan Practice Tests (NIC)

A practice test is crucial to ward off those test day jitters and can let you know how you'll score on the "real thing." Kaplan will provide proctored tests to give you an idea of the real exam. Give yourself every opportunity for scoring success and for attending the college/university of your choice by enrolling in this program today. Please bring #2 pencils, an approved calculator and a healthy snack. The exams begin promptly at the scheduled time and no one will be admitted once the exam has started.

3D Printing - It's Not Your Grandma's Library! (95th)

The future is here at the 95th Street Library. Learn how to use the MakerBot Replicator 2 printer, explore the creative 3D patterns found in Thingiverse and have any questions answered. Leave your print request with a staff member and you'll be contacted when it's complete.
