Monthly Teen Book Giveaway (95th)Monday, December 05, 2016 at 3:00 PM -- 95th Street Library
Bookworms can read and share their thoughts on the books they are reading by stopping by the lower level teen services desk for the Teen Book Giveaway. Teens can take home (and keep!) one shiny new book or Advanced Reader's Copy (ARC) each month. All that is asked in return is that participants write a review (the good and the bad) for the book taken and bring the review back to the library within the next month. Reviews will be posted on the teen section of the library's website.
Golden Snitch Ornaments (NIC)Monday, December 05, 2016 at 4:30 PM -- Nichols Library
Infuse a little Harry Potter into the holidays with a golden snitch ornament. Teens can create their own snitch that makes for a magical decoration any time of the year. *Program requires advanced registration and is limited to 15 teens in 6th through 12th grades.

3-D Software & Printing for Teens (95th)Tuesday, December 06, 2016 at 4:00 PM -- 95th Street Library
Teens can learn how to design three-dimensional object using 3-D software as well as the process of printing it using the library's 3-D printer. *Program requires advanced registration with a fee and is limited to 12 participants.
This class is appropriate for adults and students in 8th grade or older and are limited to 12 participants. Registration is taken at the computer lab desks.
This class has a non-refundable attendance fee that must be paid at the time of registration.
The fee for these classes is:
Naperville Public Library card holders: $10
Non-Naperville Public Library card holders: $20
Participants can transfer to another class with one week's advance notice. If individuals cannot attend a class for any reason, they should inform the computer lab staff so the spot may be available to an individual on the waiting list.

Cards for Hospitalized Kids (95th)Tuesday, December 06, 2016 at 4:30 PM -- 95th Street Library
This holiday season teens can help spread joy by making cards for hospitalized kids. All supplies will be provided so that participants can make creative cards to brighten someone's day. Cards will be sent to the charity Cards for Hospitalized Kids, and teens in 6th through 12th grades can earn community service hours.
*SAT VS. ACT Seminar (NIC)Wednesday, December 07, 2016 at 7:00 PM -- Nichols Library
Learn about the changes on the new SAT and how this test compares to the ACT. Students who are unsure about what test to take can gain valuable insight on both tests. This program is presented in partnership with C2 Education. *Program requires advanced registration.
