Sixth Annual Teen Poetry Contest

Celebrate National Poetry Month with the library's Sixth Annual Teen Poetry Contest. The contest's three divisions are: 6th grade, 7th and 8th grades and high school. The contest will begin April 1, and the deadline for entries is 9 p.m. April 30. Winners will be announced mid-May, and the winning poems will be posted online. Prizes from area bookstores will be awarded. Pick up an entry form at any Naperville Public Library location or enter online at www.naperville-lib.org/teens/teenpoetrycontest2016. YAY FOR YA! An Online Goodreads Book Club

"Recurring, ongoing program. Lovers of YA literature can sign up for the library's online Goodreads book club. Each month, a new book will be selected, and readers can discuss it online through the participant's Goodreads account.
Request to join the group "Yay for YA!: An Online Book Club" on Goodreads or email teen librarian Alison Colman at acolman@naperville-lib.org.

New books will be posted at the beginning of each month, and participants will have the entire month to read it and discuss."

Cinco De Mayo Fiesta: Mini Pinatas and Sugar Skulls (NIC)
