Baby Play Date (NBL)

Babies learn through play! Adults and infants can enjoy stories, songs and bounces, followed by 10 minutes of exploratory play with their new friends. For infants through 23-month-olds and their caregivers.

Evening On The Riverwalk

Tuesday, August 02, 2016 at 7:00 PM -- Other
Staff will present this popular Riverwalk program, which will include stories, songs and a puppet show. Participants can bring a meal or snack. In the event of inclement weather, this event will be canceled. (The Wednesday lunchtime program will be a repeat of the Tuesday evening program.) Storytime At The Museum

Join Naperville Public Library staff the first and third Wednesday of the month for a special storytime at DuPage Children's Museum. This 30-minute program of stories, songs and more fun is for children of all ages. Museum admission purchase needed to attend storytime.

Book & Cookie Club (NIC)

Thursday, August 04, 2016 at 7:00 PM -- Nichols Library
Visit the library for a child-and-parent book discussion group. The child and parent/adult will read the selected book together and then attend the club's meeting to discuss it with others while enjoying a cookie or two. Each book will be chosen at the preceding meeting and listed on the library's website, www.naperville-lib.org. The library will have multiple copies of each title available for checkout. For children in 3rd through 5th grades. Program is limited to 15 child/parent pairs.

Vladimir Goes For Gold! (95th)

Meet Vladimir Cashewninski, athlete and champion badminton player, as he prepares to compete in the most important game of his life. On the night before his big day, he has an enthralling dream that takes him to ancient Greece where he teams up with audience members to explore the first Olympic Games. This program is presented by Traveling Lantern Theatre Company.

Summer Pajamarama (95th)

Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 7:00 PM -- 95th Street Library
Families can visit the library in their pajamas, slippers and robes, and bring along a pillow and favorite stuffed animal for bedtime stories and songs that will prepare everyone for a night of pleasant dreams.
