Intro to Python For Teens (95th)

This is an introduction to Python, a general-purpose, object-oriented computer language used for standalone projects or scripting applications. *Program requires advanced registration and is limited to 12 participants. For Teens in 6th through 12th grades.

3-D Print With Me

Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 10:00 AM -- 95th Street Library

Child and parent/adult pairs will learn how to design a three-dimensional object using 3-D software as well as the process of printing it using the library's 3-D printer. *Program requires advanced registration with a fee and is limited to 12 child/parent pairs. 

The computer and technology classes have a non-refundable, non-transferable attendance fee for each class that must be paid at the time of registration. Registrations for these classes are taken at the computer lab desks.

The fee for these classes is:

Naperville Public Library card holders: $10

Non-Naperville Public Library card holders: $20

Participants can transfer to another class with one week's advance notice. If individuals cannot attend a class for any reason, they should inform the computer lab staff so the spot may be available to an individual on the waiting list.

In this hands-on class, attendees will learn how to access Google Drive from their Gmail account, create new files, collaborate on files with friends and coworkers and share files.*Program requires advanced registration and is limited to 12 participants.

Using Microsoft Word, learn how to save files, copy and paste, change font type, size and color as well as print documents. *Program requires advanced registration with a fee and is limited to 12 participants.

Add borders, pictures, clip art and neat effects to Word documents. Create bulleted and numbered lists, insert page numbers as well as other headers and footers. *Program requires advanced registration with a fee and is limited to 12 participants.
