Get Help Filing Your 2012 Taxes

Volunteer Tax Assistance at Nichols Library:

The Notre Dame Club of Greater DuPage provides free tax preparation help for low-income households and workers earning less than $49,000 a year.  Please bring proof of identification: Social Security card, W-2, 1099, and a copy of your 2011 federal income tax return.
Appointments are not accepted.  Clients will be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) at Loaves and Fishes:

Internal Revenue Service-certified volunteers will be on site on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3 – 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. until noon from now through Saturday, April 13th.  It is not necessary to be a Loaves & Fishes client to use this free community service. The VITA program is open to any legal resident of the United States claiming a household income of $51,000 or less for 2012. AARP Tax-Aide Program at the Riverwalk Community Center:

Volunteer tax preparers in the AARP Tax-Aide Program will provide free tax filing assistance to middle and low income people, especially seniors, by appointment only at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center from February 4 through April 10.
