Lapsit Storytime (95th)

An introduction to storytime for children ages birth - 23 months. This 20-minute interactive program includes stories, songs and fingerplays. You will have time after the program to share board books and other featured titles with your little one. An adult caregiver must attend with each child. The only exception is in the case of twins.

Family Storytime (95th)

This 30-minute program of stories, songs and more is for children of all ages. At least one parent or adult caregiver is required to accompany children to these fun-filled programs.

Calling All Teen Improv Performers (95th)

Join us as Chicago comedians and performers, Dan Krall (iO Chicago, The Playground Theater, Ph Productions) and Josh Zagoren (iO Chicago, Hobo Junction Productions, The Paper Machete), teach you the basics of improv performance, introduce you to improv games to hone your skills, and prepare you for a mini performance at the end of the program. Join us for a fun program of stories and crafts for you and your preschooler. Activities will be geared to 3 and 4-year-olds, but 5-year-olds are welcome to attend. Younger siblings may accompany the older child - there will be coloring sheets for them. At least one adult caregiver must attend with their children. Limit 20 children doing crafts.
