Receive Alerts for New Materials That Match Your Saved Searches
Preferred searches

  • When you are in the classic catalog you can search for your favorite author, subject, or format and click on the Save as preferred search button.
  • Return to your record, select Preferred Searches, find the search you preformed and click Mark for email.
  • The next time the library orders materials matching your search you will receive an email listing the new item with a link to the record so that you can place a hold.

In the future, you can always click on the search link associated with any of the preferred search terms in the list to quickly execute your search.
