Ongoing volunteer opportunity is available People come to the Library as volunteers to give back to the community; add depth to college applications; fill requirements for school clubs and classes; and for the love of the Library. Whatever the reasons, the Naperville Public Library appreciates and values the time and effort given by our volunteers. Over the past year our volunteers supported our commitment to excellence by contributing over 10,000 hours of time to the Library.
The volunteer application and skills assessment forms are available at
  • Nichols Library - Upper level Information Desk
  • Naper Blvd Library - Adult Services Desk or Human Resources Office from 9:00am - 4:30 pm
  • 95th Street Library - Adult Services Desk
Forms must be completed on site and returned to the desk where you received the forms prior to leaving the Library. Volunteers will be contacted by the Human Resources Assistant as opportunities become available. The information provided on the application and results of the skills assessment will be used for volunteer placement.
