ACT Kaplan practice test (NSL)

Getting ready for college - ACT Kaplan practice test
A practice test is crucial to ward off those test-day jitters. Test takers can find out how they will score on the real thing. Kaplan will provide proctored tests, and individuals should bring No. 2 pencils, an approved calculator and a healthy snack. The exams will begin promptly at the scheduled time, and no one will be admitted once the exam has started.

BUTTONS & BLING - Those with an eye for accessories can use the library?'s button makers to create their own flair or design a pair of earrings. Supplies will be provided.

Teen Movie Series(NSL)

"The Avengers" (PG-13) - Marvel makes cinematic history as it unites the Super Hero team-up of a lifetime. Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, and Captain America assemble together for the very first time ever in this epic, action-packed blockbuster alongside Black Widow, Hawkeye and Nick Fury.

The library will screen newly released movies that teens may have missed in theaters or movies they just can't get enough of. Snacks and a surprise will be provided each month.

Poetry Slam(NIC)

Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 7:00 PM -- Nichols Library
Teens can submit their poem for the Teen Poetry Contest in April, and then share it at the Poetry Slam. Poems will be judged by audience members, and a prize will be awarded. Teens also can read a favorite poem just for fun or attend the slam just to listen. Family members and friends also are welcome to attend. A popcorn bar will be served for attendees to create their own snack mixes.
